Welcome to GradVox. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the GradVox website (the “Platform”) and services provided by GradVox (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By registering on or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Account Registration and Roles

During signup, users must select one of two distinct roles:

  • Candidate (Graduate): Users seeking placement who upload video pitches and fill out academic details.
  • Recruiter: Users acting on behalf of employers seeking to browse and connect with Candidates.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.

2. Video Pitches (For Candidates)

Candidates must record their video pitch directly via the Platform's in-browser Pitch Studio. To protect the integrity and quality of the platform, the following rules apply:

  • No file uploads of pre-recorded files are permitted. All pitches must be recorded live.
  • Pitches are capped at a maximum length of 45 seconds.
  • Every video pitch is reviewed by an Admin before going live. We reserve the right to reject pitches that contain inappropriate content, poor audio/video quality, or irrelevant messaging.

3. Accessing Candidate Data (For Recruiters)

Recruiters agree to use the Platform strictly for discovering graduate talent. In accordance with GDPR guidelines:

  • Recruiters are provided with limited preview data (first name, university, graduation year, degree category).
  • Personal contact data (email addresses) is revealed only for Candidates that the Recruiter shortlists.
  • Recruiters agree not to share, distribute, or harvest Candidate contact data for any purpose other than manual outreach.

4. Data Erasure (Hard Delete)

We respect your privacy. Any Candidate or Recruiter can trigger a “Hard Delete” from their account settings. Doing so cascade-deletes all database rows, account metadata, and video files stored on our CDN. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

5. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, post fraudulent content, or violate Candidate privacy guidelines.
